What each lead's campaign status means
The Where they are column explained: waiting, paused, replied, finished, and why a LinkedIn connection request was skipped or not sent.
Last updated
On a campaign's 2 · Leads & launch tab, the Where they are column shows where each lead is in the sequence and what, if anything, they are waiting for. This is how to read it.
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Ready, not launched | The lead is in the list, but the campaign hasn't been launched | Click Launch |
| Step 2 · Email · 12 Nov | The lead is on that step, and it is due on that date | Nothing. Email goes within your sending hours |
| … · waiting for the desktop app | A LinkedIn step is queued for the FollowThroo desktop app | Open the desktop app and let it run |
| … · waiting to connect | A LinkedIn message is waiting for the person to accept your connection request | Nothing. After 21 days without an acceptance the message is skipped |
| … · waiting for your review | An email Throo wrote for this lead needs your approval | Click Review, then Approve or Don't send |
| Paused | The campaign is paused | Click Resume |
| Replied | The lead replied on some channel, so their steps stopped | Answer them from Inbox |
| Finished | The lead went through every step | Nothing |
| Stopped | Their sequence ended early: a Stop sequence condition, they unsubscribed, they were removed, or the campaign was stopped | Nothing, or add them to another campaign |
LinkedIn connection requests that are skipped or not sent
Before each LinkedIn step, FollowThroo checks whether its purpose is already met, so nobody gets a second request:
| What happened | Why |
|---|---|
| Already connected | The person is already a 1st-degree connection, so the request was skipped and the lead moved straight to the next step |
| Already pending | A request to them was already waiting, so no second one was sent. A later message waits for them to accept |
| Not connected after 21 days | The request wasn't accepted in time, so the message wasn't sent and the lead moved on |
| Failed | The desktop app couldn't complete the step, for example because LinkedIn changed its page. The lead's other LinkedIn steps are skipped; their email steps still go out |
Connection requests in Outbox
Outbox, then LinkedIn invites, lists every connection request with its status, such as Queued, Sent, Accepted, Already connected, Already pending, Skipped or Failed. Sent means the request went out and is waiting. It becomes Accepted once the person accepts and FollowThroo sees them among your connections.
If LinkedIn asks the desktop app to sign in or prove you are human, or your daily limit is reached, the action goes back in the queue with its credits held and the campaign pauses. No lead is failed for it. Fix it in the desktop app, then Resume the campaign.
