What Brand Brain is and how AI posts use it

Brand Brain is what you teach FollowThroo about your brand, so AI-written LinkedIn posts sound like you and only state facts you've verified.

Last updated

Brand Brain is your workspace's brand profile and reference files, which FollowThroo's AI writer reads before it writes a LinkedIn post. It tells the writer what you do, who it's for, how you sound, which words to use or avoid, and which claims are true. It is not a trained model: nothing is learned permanently. Each time a post is written, the relevant parts are looked up and given to the writer as reference material.

What the writer gets

  • Your profile: what you do, your audience, voice, style rules, words to use and avoid, opinions and example posts.
  • Up to 6 short passages from your files that match the post's topic and brief. Passages are found by matching words, so a file that describes the topic in different words may not be picked.
  • Only proof marked Verified is stated as fact. Proof marked Internal or Draft is left out entirely.
  • Anything written in your files that reads like an instruction is treated as information, never as an order to the writer.

Where it's used

  • Write with AI in the post editor, while Use Brand Brain is on. You can switch it off for a single post.
  • Post Autopilot: each run reads your Brand Brain as it is that day, so your edits apply to the next post without changing the autopilot.
  • Without a Brand Brain, posts are written from the topic and brief alone, exactly as before.

Private to your workspace

  • Your files are stored privately. They are never published, shown to other workspaces, or used to write anyone else's posts.
  • Deleting a file removes everything taken from it, so later posts can't use it. Deleting the whole Brand Brain removes the profile and every file; posts it helped write stay.
  • Using Brand Brain costs no credits. A post costs the same with or without it.

Start with Set up your Brand Brain, then add your files.
