How Post Autopilot works

Post Autopilot finds a trending topic and writes a LinkedIn post on your schedule, either for your review first or published automatically.

Last updated

Post Autopilot writes LinkedIn posts for you on a schedule. At each slot it looks for trending news and topics about your subject, writes a post with the model you chose and your Brand Brain, and then either waits for your approval or publishes it. Open Posts, then Autopilots, to create one.

Create an autopilot

  1. Open Posts, then Autopilots, and start a new autopilot.
  2. Give it a Name and a Search query: what it should find trending topics about. Add Hashtags if you like.
  3. Write a Brief / tone, for example "first person, practical, no hard sell".
  4. Choose the Model and the Mode. For Review first, choose the Variants and how many hours before the slot the draft is created (3 by default).
  5. Set the Schedule: Every N days or Chosen weekdays, at a time.
  6. Click Create autopilot.

Good to know

  • Autopilots per plan: 1 on Start, 3 on Grow and 10 on Scale. The Test Drive doesn't include Post Autopilot.
  • Each post written costs the model's usual credits (10 for a standard model), so Review first with 3 variants uses three times as much. If there aren't enough credits, that run writes nothing, you're told, and it tries again at the next slot.
  • Pause stops it and Turn on starts it again. Drafts it already wrote are kept.
  • After creating an autopilot you can change its brief and switch it on or off. To change its schedule, search query or model, delete it and create a new one.
  • Each run reads your Brand Brain as it is that day.
