Your Brand Brain profile is the first thing FollowThroo's AI writer reads for every post. A few clear answers do more than long ones. Open Posts, click Brand Brain, fill in what you can, and save. The page shows how complete the profile is.
Fill in the profile
- Say what you do: Brand name, What do you do? and a One-line description. Keep it factual.
- Say why it matters: The main problem you solve, The outcome customers get, What makes you different and What you are not.
- Say who it's for: Who is it for?, with Roles and personas, Industries, Pain points and Common objections.
- Describe the voice: How does the brand sound?, Sentence style, Words to use and Words and phrases to avoid, for example "never revolutionary, never game-changing".
- Set the style: Post length, Emoji, Hashtags and Call to action.
- Add Content pillars, the themes you post about, and Opinions and principles: what the brand believes. Posts argue from these.
Examples: sounds like us, and doesn't
Paste two or three real posts under Sounds like us: posts you'd be glad to have written. Under Doesn't sound like us, add posts that miss your voice, so the writer knows what to avoid. Examples teach tone faster than any description.
Proof: what the writer may state as fact
Add numbers, results and customer facts under Proof, each with a status:
| Status | What the writer does with it |
|---|---|
| Verified | May state it as fact in a post |
| Internal | Never uses it |
| Draft | Never uses it |
Mark something Verified only when you'd be happy to see it published, and add its source and date so you remember where it came from.
Competitors
Under Competitors and alternatives, name them, say how you differ, and add anything never to say. Posts never attack a competitor.
Next, add your files: brand guides, case studies, product sheets and past posts.
