Write, schedule and publish a LinkedIn post
Write a LinkedIn post yourself or with AI in FollowThroo, add an image, and publish it now or schedule it for later.
Last updated
FollowThroo publishes posts to your own LinkedIn feed through LinkedIn's official connection. Open Posts and click New post. Write the post yourself, or let AI write it from a topic, using your Brand Brain so it sounds like you.
Before you start
Connect LinkedIn for posting: open Channels, then LinkedIn, and click Connect LinkedIn. You sign in on LinkedIn's own page; FollowThroo never sees your password. Once connected, Your LinkedIn shows Can post to your feed and when the sign-in renews. This is separate from the desktop app, which sends connection requests.
Write it
- Type in the Post box, or open Write with AI.
- With AI: give it a topic or click Find a trending topic, add an optional Brief / tone, choose the Model, and click Write with AI. Edit the result as you like.
- Add one image if you want: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB.
- To publish later, pick a date and time under Schedule (optional) and click Save & schedule. The time is in your computer's time zone. To keep it for later, leave the date empty and click Save as draft.
- To publish straight away, click Publish and confirm.
LinkedIn shows posts as plain text, so Markdown formatting, such as asterisks around a word, appears exactly as typed.
What AI writing costs
| Models | Credits per post | Plans |
|---|---|---|
| MiniMax M2, DeepSeek V3.2, Llama 3.3 70B, Qwen3 14B, Qwen3 235B A22B, GLM 5.3 | 10 | Included with your plan |
| Claude Opus 5, GPT-5.2, GPT-5.5, GPT-5.6 Sol, Gemini 3.1 Pro | 20 | Grow and Scale |
| Claude Fable 5.1 | 39 | Grow and Scale |
A model that fails to write costs nothing. Writing by hand, scheduling and publishing are free.
After you schedule
- Scheduled posts go out within about 5 minutes of their time.
- Posts shows each post as Draft, Needs review, Scheduled, Publishing…, Published or Failed.
- To change a scheduled post, open it, edit it or move its time, and save. A post you move, or turn back into a draft, doesn't go out at the old time.
- If one fails, see Why a LinkedIn post didn't publish.
