1. Connect the Chrome extension

   Install FollowThroo for LinkedIn

   Get it from the Chrome Web Store .

   Pair it with your workspace

   In FollowThroo, open LinkedIn and copy the pairing code from Connect the Chrome extension. Then click the extension's icon in Chrome, choose Settings, type https://app.followthroo.com in the App URL box, paste the code, and click Connect.

   Use it while signed in to LinkedIn

   Stay signed in to LinkedIn in that same Chrome or Edge window. Open a people search, your connections, a company's people, or a profile, then tick the people you want. The extension only adds people to FollowThroo. It never sends a connection request or a message.

For a long, existing list, use Import CSV or Excel in Leads with a LinkedIn URL column.

2. Review imports and errors

Open LinkedIn → Your LinkedIn → Logs. Each line shows the page that was read, how many people it found, how many were added, when, and any error. If it says the page could not be read, LinkedIn has probably changed how that page looks. It does not mean anyone was turned away, and nobody is added from a page that can't be read.

   Line up the connection requests

   In Leads, tick the people and choose Connect on LinkedIn, or add a LinkedIn connection step to a campaign. Check whether each request carries a short note before anything is sent.

   Install the Windows app and sign in

   Download the desktop app. It opens its own Chrome window, using a profile kept on your computer, so your normal browsing is not touched.

   Use the Send connections lane

   The app shows how many requests have gone out today, how many you can still send, your daily limit, and how many can carry a note. The safest maximum is 20 requests per LinkedIn account per day, and you can set a lower limit. Click Send connections only when you can leave that window alone while it works.

It stops by itself when you reach your daily limit, when LinkedIn says you have sent too many, when LinkedIn asks you to sign in or prove you are human, or after repeated errors. Automated sending can break LinkedIn's rules and can get an account restricted, so keep your limits low and check what is lined up before you start.

4. Look up profile contact information

LinkedIn profile enrichment is available on Grow ($20/month) and Scale ($50/month). Choose Find email and phone on a lead, select leads in bulk, or add the campaign step. The desktop app's separate Profile enrichment section does the lookup, and it never sends anything to anyone.

This only works for people you are already connected to on LinkedIn (1st-degree connections), because they are the ones who share contact details with you. FollowThroo checks this on their profile and tells you the reason when it can't be sure, instead of guessing. A lookup costs up to three credits. You get one back for each missing email or phone, and all three back if the person isn't a connection or something goes wrong.
