Leads

Bring your leads in, keep them useful

Import a spreadsheet, find the people you need, and download a list when you want one. CSV and Excel files use the same simple layout.

Import CSV or Excel

  1. Open Leads, then choose Add lead → Import CSV or Excel.
  2. Upload a .csv or .xlsx file. For Excel, only the first sheet is read.
  3. Look at the result: how many were added and how many were skipped. Every skipped row comes with a reason in plain words.

Put the column names in the first row, then one person on each row below. Every person needs an email or a linkedin url. Everything else is optional.

Priya,Shah,priya@acme.com,https://www.linkedin.com/in/priyashah,Acme,Head of HR,+91 98765 43210,"warm,hr",Mumbai

Capital letters and spaces in the column names don't matter. Extra columns, such as city, are kept on each person, and you can use them inside your messages.

Filter and export

In Leads you can narrow the list by stage, owner, source, tag, group, a word you type, or whether they have a LinkedIn profile. Owners and admins can then click Export CSV to download exactly the list on screen, including any extra columns you imported.

Attachments in email templates

Open an email template and attach up to five files, each up to 10 MB. A campaign using that template sends those files with every email. Attachments work with Gmail and with other email accounts added by password. If you send through Zoho they are not supported yet, and FollowThroo says so instead of quietly sending the email without the files.
